Kind of a cloudy drizzly day today. Started our day with breakfast at the buffet again. The Mexican fare is pretty good at the breakfast buffet. Steer clear of the french toast and scrambled eggs though!
Walked around the resort, spent a bit of time in the pool, Connor had a few siesta's during the day which was good and Mommy and Daddy managed to enjoy a few drinks by the pool. Discovered the lunch buffet down by the beach, which doesn't have quite the selection as the man buffet, but the atmosphere is much nicer - open air with beautiful ocean views. And its entertaining to watch the merchants on the beach hit up all the passer-byers!!
Dinner tonight was at the French restaurant Vivant, which was fabulous. Definitely 5 star quality! We will be eating there again during our stay!

Biggest Loser Resort Mailbu at Fitness Ridge
The Setup
April 2011
It all started with a work award for a one week trip to Biggest Loser Resort Malibu at Fitness Ridge. This award was a surprise award granted at the yearly company meeting called Relevance Revolution.
The CEO of my company, xMatters pulled my wife and I aside and asked if "we" would be interested in in sending "me" to a fitness camp for 1 week. This may seem a little odd to you, but my wife was 6 months pregnant at the time so the question was "relevant" to us :)
We accepted and the rest is history as they say..
The Organization
May 2011
There were a million excuses as to why I could schedule my visit, there seem to be an endless number of excuses around anything that involves change :) With the baby impending (July 09th 2011), I knew I needed to get this done before the arrival of the baby.
Finally, all excuses exhausted and the baby deadline impending, I nailed down a week to head to Biggest Loser, Fitness Ridge.
On May 29th, 2011 I left Victoria, BC, Canada at 6:00 am to land at LAX for 10:30 am.
